Graduation (#2)

Ethan had his graduation ceremony for the Playroom Program (his other preschool) on Saturday.

Be kind to your web-footed friends

We went to feed the ducks, but my boys had better things to do.... Sorry pigeons, but you are not safe anywhere within 100 feet of these guys. They love to chase birds just to watch them fly away.

This is nothing new. Colby learned how to yell at a bird before he even learned any words. His brother loves to set a good example!

Z is for Zoo

On Thursday we went with Ethan's preschool class on a fieldtrip to the Tucson Zoo. It was a beautiful day and it was fun to get out an have a fun day with the kids.

Soft

Zak and I went and played softball with our ward last night. It was really fun to play. I don't think I have played in a real game since my freshman year of high school. Anyway, after a not so intense game, I am actually sore today. I guess my throwing muscles don't get used often enough. Pretty sad, I know. I must be getting old.

Eric Herman

Last weekend we got to see Eric Herman put on a little show. Ethan likes this guy's songs, so he was excited to see him, and to be able to help out with one of the songs. Colby was not so happy to have to wake up from his nap just to see some guy sing. He just sat in my lap the whole time!

Little Lions

Ethan has been in two preschools for the past few months. One of them was called Little Lions and was run by the high school. The high school students spend the first half of the year learning about teaching children, and then spend the second half of the year helping with the preschool. It's a pretty good little program. Anyway, they just finished last week and they had a really cute little graduation ceremony for them. He was sad to have to be done. He has loved all the kids in his class and the teacher and his "buddies".
